Whilst I am first and foremost a lawyer offering legal counsel, I am sensible enough to balance your legal rights with what’s important. I consider the personal toll on you, and your wish to move forward. I assess the likely outcome of legal action against the costs. I aim to settle the problem quickly and pragmatically for you, on your instruction.

I write letters (in plain English) and bring legal claims on your behalf. I assert your rights. I negotiate directly and speak for you at mediations. I appear in the Employment Relations Authority. Most of the time I am in my office, talking to you and the other side about solving the problem at hand.
